Opening a Storefront on NetSide Market
What are Storefronts?
A storefront is an optional feature on NetSide Market that allows you to market and sell your products and/or services to local communities in SE Wisconsin and Northern Illinois using a virtual store format.
What are the benefits of having a storefront?
* All your listings are grouped in one area and appear in categories.
* You can upload a image banner that will appear at the top of your store.
* Profile page so you can tell us all about your shop.
* Feedback page
* Direct url to your store www.netsidemarket.com/username
* Your store will appear on the stores page http://www.netsidemarket.com/stores.asp
What does it cost to open my storefront?
A onetime setup fee of $20.00 will be charged to open your storefront afterwards there will be a monthly fee of only $10.00 Final value fees on all completed sales will be assessed as described under “final value fees” section viewable on our “Fees” page. All storefront fees and final value fees are billed monthly.
How do I create a storefront?
Go to My Account > click Storefront (under account)
Enter your store name
Short description (This will appear on the stores page)
Upload your banner
Upload your logo - (this will appear on the stores page)
Go to My Account > click Profile (under account)
Add your about information (This will appear in your store and can also be viewed via the listing page)
Should my username when I register be the same as my store?
NetSide Market recommends that your username is the same as your store name or a shortened version. Your username appears in each of your listings. For more information on registering (changing my username etc) please see the registration help section.
What is the recommended banner size?
The banner width can't be longer than 950px, height is up to you. Anywhere between 700-950 wide and 150 -200px high @ 72dpi. Please make sure your image size is no larger than 1 meg.
What is the recommended size of my logo?
Recommended size: 150px x 150px @ 72dpi
If I don't have a storefront can I still list items and where/how will they appear?
Yes, you can still list items and they will appear in your chosen categories. When the buyer clicks on "View seller's other items" in one of your listings your listing will appear on one page.
I have created a storefront but it doesn't appear on the stores page?
Your store will only appear on the stores page if you have active listings.

Where will my ad appear?
Your ad will appear on the top or side all major pages of our site at any given time depending on its size and where it is located in the random rotation sequence. There is a maximum of 14 adverts per month allowed on the site, with 9 shown at any one time.
What are the sizes of ads offered and their cost?
Ad sizes available and their cost are as follows: Each ad includes an embedded url of your choice.
*Standard Banner 468 x 60 displays on top of pages in rotation = $10.00/mo.
*Standard Banner w/Flash Animation 468 x 60 displays on top of pages in rotation = $12.00/mo.
*Ledgerboard Banner 728 x 90 displays on top of pages in rotation = $15.00/mo.
*Ledgerboard Banner w/Flash Animation 728 x 90 displays on top of pages in rotation = $17.00/mo.
*Vertical Banner 120 x 240 displays on right side of pages in rotation = $8.00/mo.
